I am a wife, mum, daughter, friend etc. Like many of you, I wear many hats. Mental health is near and dear to my heart for many reasons. I have personally struggled with anxiety for many years, and as I get older and wear more hats, I have noticed it has become more and more difficult to manage. I discovered Anxiety Canada in 2019 and after using some of their free resources for my family and myself, I feel very grateful. I want everyone to have access to free resources and programs to help manage their anxiety. Please help support the mission so more people can get the help they need. >>> NOTE: PLEASE USE THE PURPLE BUTTON TO DONATE TO MY CAMPAIGN. Thank you!
Fundraising for action anxiety day
The first resource I used from Anxiety Canada was their MAPs (My Anxiety Plan) for kids. It's a self-paced online course that helps you, as a caregiver, parent or educator, better identify and help children cope with anxiety and anxiety disorders. I couldn't believe it was a free resource! I went on to complete the MAPs for adults program - life changing! Again, wondering how these amazing resources, that offered me so much knowledge and relief, are possibly free. Learning more about Anxiety Canada, I discovered it is a national mental health charity that relies on donations to support the millions of Canadians who struggle with anxiety and anxiety disorders. Please support my personal challenge by making a donation. Your donations go directly to supporting mental health programs that are barrier free and accessible to everyone.
