Anxiety wasn't a topic of conversation when I was growing up. After working at Anxiety Canada for the past 8 years, I've learned that we all suffer from anxiety, and sometimes it can be interfering and overwhelming, not just for one day but over many years. It makes me sad that most people don't know that anxiety can be managed and anxiety disorders are highly treatable. For some, it means missing major milestones like graduating from school and not being able to hold down a job. We suffer in silence because we're afraid of being judged and that maybe the craziness we feel isn't "fixable". In the lead up to Action Anxiety Day (June.10th), I'm urging you to support my campaign to expand Anxiety Canada's services and programs to reduce the barrier of anxiety so people can live the lives they want. >>> NOTE: PLEASE USE THE PURPLE BUTTON TO DONATE TO MY CAMPAIGN. Thank you!

If I had learned about anxiety and anxiety management, I know I would've enjoyed my life more fully especially when I was in my teen years. I have become an evangelist for anxiety because it impacts us all and I know the many proven strategies that I've learned from Anxiety Canada really help.
